A criminal mastermind, if she never looked the part. Loretta Tango was once a famous smalltown dancer, of course, for the Tango. Her Mexican parents always encouraged her to follow whatever dream she wished, and dancing was it. After making a name for herself at the age of 6 for her hypnotic hips, she moved onto different forms of dance when she followed a schoolmate into the a strip bar at the age of 12. She found the awed gazes of the men in their seats provocative, and the moves of the girls on stage fascinating. Every week or so, she'd sneak out of her room to get an eyeful herself. She eventually joined them, fully naive and unaware of the things that go on behind the scenes. She earned the name Tangerine for herself, because of her chosen color of attire. Once attacked by a demanding drunkard, she decided she was purely a dancer, and nothing else that the bar offered, but the incident skewed her view of the world. She knew what made men tick, and she used it in subtle ways to get anything she wanted, without hesitation. Jewels, money, gold.. all with no more than gazes, words, and perhaps a touch on the shoulder. Seeing men as such objects, she sees absolutely no interest in them, except for material purposes. Instead she chose the only other alternative, women.

Usually one to work alone, for such a trademark person, she remains very well hidden. Not many personal details are known about her, but her backstory drifts around from tongue to tongue in private bars. In terms of law enforcement, she's a renegade and a felon, wanted by many law enforcers and for high rewards.
